Care and acts of kindness are key themes in this years Community Takeover. Create your own care box to put worries, acts of kindness or objects of care within and take with you on your journey!

Saturday 4 July

Collage you roots with Erin Townsend! Write, cut and stick poetry based on your identity inspired by Turner prize nominee Simeon Barclay’s Farewell Sweet Innocence exhibition. Led by musician and JHG intern Erin, you’ll also have the opportunity to perform it afterwards if you like!

Saturday 11 July

Giving and care for other people and the planet is part of this years Community Takeover. Decorate a stone with an act of kindness that you can leave somewhere for someone else to find!

Saturday 18 July

This week our team will be at Mela in Hoglands Park. If you can’t join us there, take part in a table top activity in our foyer!
