Promise to our Planet
Children and young people are invited to explore their voices and thoughts on climate change through making a promise to our planet – their lively responses will be on display throughout Community Takeover! This project is part of our commitment to Southampton becoming a Child Friendly City.
Safe Spaces
Enjoy a colourful display of shields created by young people from No Limits, YMCA Newtown, and Energise Me. The shields tell the story of each young person and what safety means to them in their home city. Led by artist Tom Hall, and developed in partnership with artist and designer Ged Wells and Skate Southampton.
Community Indoor Garden in partnership with Yellow Door
Find sanctuary in nature or your garden. Building on the theme of Safe Spaces and our work with JHG Ambassadors, we have created an indoor garden that interprets Yellow Door’s plans for their garden.
