We’re getting ready for our new exhibitions, why not have a go building your own gallery as well? This week we will be building mini galleries to curate!

Saturday 3 October

Art of Creation in Gallery 3 has lots of different artworks including collage, painting, felting and flower sculptures. Have a go creating your own crepe paper flowers just like the flower installation in Gallery 1!

Saturday 10 October

Many artists have been inspired by stories and poems. Some artists use words in their artworks and some make art works out of words. This is called Concrete Poetry. Join us this week to create your own poems and creative writing!

Saturday 17 Ocotober

Inspired by Becoming Doctors exhibition on Mezzanine Gallery, there is a lot of storytelling in this exhibition so have a go creating your own story in comic book format!

Saturday 24 Ocotober

Naeem Mohaieman’s exhibition THROUGH A MIRROR, DARKLY shows work made with artist Joy Yi Lu Freund. Mohaiemen used pages from the University of Southampton’s student newspaper to create large collage prints. This week, create your own collage prints inspired by the work in Gallery 3!
