Accompanying Seaside Photographed are two new commissions, which supports the entire exhibition and tour and is funded by Arts Council England.
Alongside 2020’s Seaside Photographed, John Hansard Gallery commissioned two artist-led projects working with children in Early Years settings.
The Gallery worked with photographer Sam Ivin and dancer Natalie Watson, who both led workshops with pre-school children and their key workers exploring themes of the sea and the beach.
The outcomes of Ivin’s collaboration with three and four-year-olds at The Shore Pre School are presented in Gallery 3, in an exhibition entitled Weston Shore: The Seaside, Photography and Play.
