Seaside: Photographed Engagement commissions

Accompanying Seaside Photographed are two new commissions, which supports the entire exhibition and tour and is funded by Arts Council England.

Its focus is on engagement with Early Years, and each of the exhibition’s venues will in turn commission both an artist and an arts educator to devise and produce a specific project for that particular location.

The two people John Hansard Gallery are working with are:

Sam Irvin is a photographer who is working with an Early Years group and will present the outcomes in Gallery 3.
Natalie Watson is a locally based dance specialist who will be running participatory workshops.

The film that John Hansard Gallery is creating about Seaside Photographed is being produced by City Eye, and will be available online soon.
