On Wednesday 13 December, join us to hear local poets’ responses to the theme ‘standing on the edge’, inspired by our current exhibition by Koestler Arts. Hosted by guest poet, Laila Sumpton.

Come explore our Standing on the Edge exhibition from 6PM before poetry readings begin at 7PM. Refreshments provided.

Standing on the Edge showcases 80 artworks from the criminal justice system from the South West and Hampshire regions.

 

Guest Poet:
Laila Sumpton is a poet, editor, performer, and educator. Laila has previously selected poetry for the Koestler Awards and currently manages the Arts Council funded initiative Poetry Vs Colonialism. She has also been commissioned by several arts and cultural organisations, including Tate Modern and the Tower of London.
