Join our JHG Ambassadors Programme, creating a space for people to make connections, to inspire, and explore what we can do together!
JHG Ambassadors can help to shape the Gallery’s Engagement and Learning Programme, such as Community Takeover. Being a part of the JHG Ambassador Programme creates new opportunities, training, and the chance to develop new projects and ideas. To find out more, have a look at the previous cohort’s case study here.
Who is it for?
We are seeking people who want to play an active role in their community. The programme is about openness, creativity, and a keen interest to explore new ways of doing things. You might be leading on small do-it-yourself, local projects. You might be a volunteer or be working part-time with a local charity or community group.
Your input is essential:
The programme is based on the values of co-ownership. Ambassadors will shape and grow the programme’s direction, together with John Hansard Gallery.
Level of commitment:
The programme will last approximately 18 months until John Hansard Gallery’s Community Takeover in Summer 2024. The Ambassadors will meet regularly and be consulted on how often this is e.g. fortnightly, monthly etc.
Code of conduct:
All ages 18+ are welcome. John Hansard Gallery is committed to overcoming barriers to inclusion; childcare support, reimbursement of public transport, and some access costs can be covered.
To apply:
If you would like to be part of the JHG Ambassador Programme, please complete a Nomination Form (PDF download) and email it to Libby Russell at [email protected] by Wednesday 22 March 2023 at 5pm.
