Key concepts considered include assemblage, arrangement, flatness, volume and their place in Tallentire’s practice. Looking closely at specific works, the discussion will open out to ideas concerning different registers of the real and how Tallentire’s practice aims to resist dramatic affect.

This event is in-person at John Hansard Gallery.

Material Distance is on show until 14 January 2023.
