Half Term Film School returns to John Hansard Gallery this February! Free to attend, suitable for ages 10-16.
Led by City Eye, young filmmakers will discover new skills behind and in front of the camera, as they spend four days producing and performing in their own short film inspired by our current exhibition, Derek Jarman’s Modern Nature.
Supported by a team of fun and friendly workshop leaders, participants will develop their knowledge and skills in all aspects of the filmmaking process, from story boarding through to editing. All participants will have the opportunity to work towards their Arts Award Discover or Explore.
Your finished film will be screened at a special event during Southampton Film Week 2022.
