British Sign Language Tour of Las Gemelas: Arrival (a lexicon of unmaking)

Join Martin Glover, a BSL (British Sign Language) user, on a free guided tour of Las Gemelas: Arrival (a lexicon of unmaking)

Sonia Boué’s and Ashokkumar Mistry’s Las Gemelas: Arrival (a lexicon of unmaking) explores the arrival of almost 4,000 Basque child refugees that docked in Southampton on 23rd May 1937 upon the SS Habana, as a consequence of the Spanish Civil War.

Martin will lead a tour of the exhibition, followed by a creative workshop inspired by the works on show. Refreshments will be provided.

Martin is a Deaf Architect and an established BSL facilitator for galleries and museums.
