Come and explore journaling and life writing with author Katy Massey!
There has recently been an explosion in the popularity of life-writing. And if you have ever wanted to record your lived experience, this is the workshop for you. We will look at the many forms that writing about real life can take, think about how to tell our own stories, and work through some writing exercises together.
Katy Massey’s family memoir Are we home yet? was published in 2020 and subsequently nominated for both the Jhalak Prize and Portico Prize. Katy, a former journalist, holds a PhD in life writing from Newcastle University and run numerous literature projects, edited anthologies and is a skilled and experienced workshop leader and speaker. She is currently working on her first novel.
