Work together to create a tapestry! Using Ayo Akingbade’s exploration of factories and heritage, explore the idea of coming together to create one large tapestry to hang on our Active Space wall. How will working together as a community influence this work? Come along and get creative using recycled fabrics and materials!

Deborah Goatley-Birch explores identity and sense of belonging through her collaged textiles. Have a go making, discussing and developing ideas around Billie Zangewa’s exhibition A Quiet Fire.
Saturday 17 June
Looking into the notions of industrialisation, place making and archives explore Ayo Akingbade’s exhibition Show Me The World Mister through this interactive workshop! Develop a story using your creative writing skills to create your own story based on your life! Draw, illustrate, write or collage!
Saturday 24 June
Have a go at participating in Sonia E Barrett’s virtual experience using iPads. Investigate the museum like halls of Barrett’s work! Got more time?
